- created “external sources” referenced in the book
- girl rescues prince
- consistent to intended audience (YA)
Not for me:
- a LOT of plot to follow
- very fast-paced action, pace never slows
- locations are a little hard to follow at times
Grade: B (enjoyed, wouldn’t read again)
Burning Sky is #1 of 3. Highly recommended for people who love Harry Potter and its ilk. I would/will likely give the other two books a try, but after sometime and maybe in a reading slump. If this is your thing, this is a total binge read.
